At Shockwave Student Ministry, our mission is to point middle and high school students to Jesus and help them grow in their relationship with Him. Students come to know Jesus and His resurrection power in a real and personal way while being part of a fun, welcoming community. We encourage students to ask honest questions, build meaningful relationships, and learn how to live out their faith in everyday life. Our heart is to help students grow into confident, Christ centered leaders at school, at home, and beyond.
This is our main time of Bible study, fun, and community for students in middle and high school. Each Sunday night we have snacks, engage in a lesson from the Bible, and play games together. If you’re looking to have a blast while experiencing the greatness of God, this is for you!
We are so excited to be heading to Revive Youth Camp on June 26–30 for an unforgettable week of worship, teaching, and community. This trip is a powerful opportunity for students to step away from everyday distractions, grow deeper in their faith, and experience God in a meaningful and personal way.

At Asbury Methodist Church, the safety and well being of every child and student is one of our highest priorities. We are committed to providing a Christ centered environment where children and students can grow in their faith while being cared for, protected, and respected.
All staff and volunteers who serve with children and students at Asbury are required to follow Ministry Safe policies, complete Ministry Safe certification, and get background checked prior to serving. This training and certification helps ensure that everyone working with our young people understands appropriate boundaries, supervision practices, and how to recognize and report concerns.
By following Ministry Safe standards, Asbury Methodist Church is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and trusted environment for every family. For questions about our Ministry Safe policies or serving opportunities, please contact Susan Francis at susan.francis@asburycc.org
